Instructor Information
Monique Thompson, CIT, NAI Lead Trainer, is the founder of Raindrop Naturalist and an interpretive trainer specializing in cultural and environmental interpretation. A restorative justice practitioner and nature enthusiast, she brings over 25 years of experience as an educator, collaborator, and learner. Her classes integrate values-based interpretation with strategic storytelling that fosters connection, inclusivity, and well-being—inviting people into deeper relationships with the world, each other, and themselves. Monique nurtures that same spirit through forest bathing, adult hip-hop classes, and gatherings around a pot of gumbo.
“Monique was incredible. As the course went on, I realized more and more that every time she took the floor she was exhibiting the attributes of quality interpretation and presentation. She was engaging, funny, and informative.”
