Your Four Corners Region presents - Community of Practice Professional Development Series: 21st Century Tools, Tips, and Tricks for Interpreters and Leaders.
Get all the benefits of a professional workshop combined with the convenience of virtual meetings! This series is designed for those wanting to develop their skills, network, and grow in the field. As busy professionals who can’t always leave your site for days at a time, this workshop is split up into 5 virtual sessions between 75-90 minutes in length only once a quarter. Due to the interactive nature of the sessions, it is most beneficial to attend in-person; however, sessions will be recorded and sent to those registered. The series will culminate in a 5th virtual live stream session with special guest speakers who are advancing our field!
Sessions are FREE for NAI Members; however, please consider donating what you can afford, as this helps build our region scholarship fund where you and others in the region can apply for financial help to attend the national conference. For just $25, you will be thanked with an awesome NAI Four Corners sticker mailed to you!
These sessions are formatted with engaging questions and opportunities for networking and brainstorming. But we need your help! For more effective discussions, we may survey what you’re most interested in learning or discussing, and we ask you to come prepared with your own experiences, success stories, and questions/challenges to share! The peer-share and thematic discussion format allows for real-time feedback to enhance any area you want to grow; we encourage bringing up current and specific projects you’re working on so we can support you in your journey as an interpreter and leader.
